10 Cheap Drugstore Makeup Products Used And Endorsed by Celebrity Makeup Artists

We all want to get looks like celebrity. We all want to know what MakeUp Celebrities wear and how they look so fresh and stunningly beautiful. But at the same time, we do not want to spend a fortune buying makeup like Chanel, MAC, Clinique, Lancome etc.

We have gathered up some of the drug store/grocery store brands used by Celebrity MakeUp Artists. We were amazed to find some of these very wallet friendly and cheap and low cost products that do wonders.

Beauty doesn't always have to be expensive :)

1. COVERGIRL SMOKYSHADOWBLAST IN TEMPEST BLUE, $8.49

"I love this double-sided cream shadow pencil. It has two fantastic fall shades of blue" says a Celebrity MakeUp Artist. "Mixing cool and warm tones will be really big this fall. I like to smudge the blue on the top lid and lashline and then put a neutral tone (like a bronze) under the bottom lashline to create pop and depth.

2. L'OREAL PARIS COLOUR RICHE LIPSTICK IN BRITISH RED, $8.99

When we think fall, we think red lips.

"This is a terrific red for pale to mid-toned gals but would be too blue/red for darker skin tones."

A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist also says that he likes how this shade "feels a little jewel-toned and gives brightness and crispness without looking heavy or like your mother's lipstick." Noted.

3. REVLON NAIL ENAMEL IN NOT SO BLUEBERRY, $4.79

Another fall staple? Dark colors on fingers and toes. "To carry the deeper lip trend I like the idea of using a strong shade on the nails. This deep azure feels fun and sophisticated at the same time," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist.

4. ALMAY SMART SHADE MAKEUP FOUNDATION, $9.99

When we stopped to ask about the best drugstore foundation, A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist led us to the Almay section. "You want sheer, bisque-y makeup." This one is an especially great compliment to bold lips and lashes. "I love that this formula gives nice coverage and dries to a satin-y finish. It comes in a small range of shades that blend into skin seamlessly. They say it adjusts. Not sure if that's true. But I will say it does seem to vanish beautifully."

5. MAYBELLINE CREAM PENCIL EYELINER IN SAPPHIRE STRENGTH, $7.99

"Touches of color will be big for fall," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist. "I love putting a deep blue or plum liner right at the lashline. If you choose a subtle enough shade it won't read immediately as a color. It will add definition that, with closer inspection, surprises with an uncommon cast of color.

6. RIMMEL LONDON EXTRA WOW LASH MASCARA, $3.99

"Since deeper lips are going to be huge for fall, sheerer eyes will be in order," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist. "To balance the lip, lashes will take center stage. Curl and apply layers of deep black mascara to add crispness and definition.

7. L'OREAL PARIS THE ONE SWEEP SCULPTING BLUSH DUO IN POSH CHIC, $10.99

"This is perfect for the gals that want to make their cheekbones look higher by applying darker blush underneath," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist. How do you pull thatoff? "This is a tough trick to master for the novice, and it's never a good look in the daytime. "I would suggest using the pinky/rose color for day and in the evening, sweep the bronzy tone underneath. The deeper shade is fail-safe. A fleshy, bronzy shade that's non-shimmery is universally flattering and gives the feeling of contouring. But it's not so intense that it will look like stripes.

8. WET 'N WILD COLORICON EYESHADOW TRIOS IN 333, $2.99

"Navy blue, slate, and warm gold shimmer are all in one compact. "Again, mixing the warm and cool tones will be huge for fall. I think next year we'll start to really embrace a more matte finish eye make-up, but for now shimmer will be an important bridge to make subtly colored shadows wearable," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist.

9. MILANI LIP FLASH IN NEWS FLASH, $6.99

Back to lips: "I love using plum on lips. This fat pencil gives the pigment of a lipstick, but goes on almost like a lip glaze. Such a great, modern finish," says A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist. "It's best for gals with medium to full lips since it doesn't stay in a sharp enough point to really sculpt and define thin lips," he says.

10. PHYSICIANS FORMULA SHIMMER STRIPS CUSTOM EYE ENHANCING GEL CREAMLINER TRIO IN BRONZE, BROWN AND BLACK, $10.99

When A famous Celebrity MakeUp artist reaches for this product, we share a knowing glance. We are already well aware of this product's greatness. "I use [this] after applying a favorite eyeshadow look to add sparkle and drama," makeup artist says. "The bronze is beautiful with a wash of pewter on the lid. The brown anchors the cool-toned lid and adds depth. The texture is smooth and blends easily. Work fast though because once it's dry, it really stays," he says.
